This past week, the Axemen signed two players with impressive credentials. Alec Johnston who played for us last year, signed for our game against Tyendinaga. He has Jr A, B, C experience in Ontario and long pole at Robert Morris University. Alec brings a strong transition game and solid defense.
The second signing is Curtis Perry. Curtis just moved to the Ottawa area and has 4 years of JR A experience in Peterborough. He brings toughness and aggressiveness on the D side.
In other notes, 5 of the last year Juniors in Gloucester/Nepean have transferred to Quebec and will be available to play with the Axemen for the rest of the year including playoffs. They host a number of lacrosse skills which will help the Axemen this year and in future years. Welcome Tyler Collins, Jeff Brett, Kevin Van Dam, Austin Robinson & Kaleb Bingley to Quebec lacrosse.
